Tristan's research has been featured on various specials for networks such as the BBC ‘Blue Planet Live’, National Geographic ‘Cannibal Sharks’ and Discovery Channels ‘Shark Week’ including 'Hammerhead Invasion' and ‘Shark Storm’. Further, he advised and presented on various celebrity specials for Shark Week including Michael Phelps ‘Great White vs. Great Gold’, Bear Grylls ‘Bear vs. Shark’, Expedition Unknown ‘Megalodon’, Naked and Afraid, SHAQ does Shark Week, and Guys Trip, filming in the Bahamas, Mexico and South Africa. Tristan has a rare ability to make science entertaining, yet informative, and uses these skills and his extensive field experience to create wildlife films that integrate tools from science and cinema to showcase animal behaviour. He believes this form of communication can reveal important scientific insights into animal behaviour, as well as generate interest and momentum for managing and conserving wildlife.
